Thought this would be fun. This is a new piece. It is called ‘Enhancement’ and the actual image is only 11 x 14 on aluminum vinyl and block wood. But if I enlarged it it could look like this on a wall one day. Sometimes you just need to see what the possibilities are for your art rather than looking at it in your kitchen or just in your studio. I used a wet on wet technique with alcohol inks.

This is one I created earlier this year but never posted. This is a wet on wet alcohol ink. 11x14 on Yupo paper. I love the lightness and ethereal quality of this work. It sprang to life very quickly- so the temptation is to ‘work’ harder on a piece but then you may end up destroying some magic. Alcohol Inks have a life force that moves and feels alive. Fun to watch. Like life.

Experimental painting. Magenta limeade, snowcap, purple, ranger and ArtT inks. This little beauty speaks volumes from her belly bursting forth here and there throughout the “canvas”. Amazing how something so small can be so powerful.

These Inks are on a 11x14 black canvas board. It’s amazing to me how just utilizing new colors can change my mood when creating. New colors mix and collide with other to make more new colors! I become entranced with watching them flow and glide into each other. Newly formed colors whisper my name, and ask; “Will you come play with me today?” Yes. Yes I will.

This detailed, step by step workshop, will teach students a variety of techniques allowing them the opportunity to create both abstracts and landscapes. No experience with Alcohol Inks required. What I love about offering this workshop through Zenso Creative™ is the easy to use online platform. My students can start, stop, rewind and keeps track of their progress. Students can ask me questions through our Facebook Group and interact with other Zenso Creative™ instructors and students too. This kind of continuous support is what separates Zenso Creative™ Community from so many other online art classes. Thanks for stopping by. LINK HERE: https://workshops.zensocreative.com/courses/freeform-color-and-style-with-alcohol-inks This is a mini experiment. Lots of blending solution to this little canvas board. I used Brea and Ranger Alcohol Inks, plus some liquid gold leaf. Adding the gold leaf was interesting- since it’s really technically incompatible with the Alcohol Inks. This one is titled 'Rivers'. Cool colors to contrast as if a hot summer day. Cheers. - Happigal

What is it about us artists that make us want to bring beauty into the world? Today I am feeling we are warming hearts, bringing smiles and creating memories with which to help us reflect on our lives here. Alcohol ink is so breathtakingly fluid. We are never fully in control over it, just like our lives. We accept, adapt, change, and go with the flow. #alcoholink #inks #aicommunity #aiartcommunity #art #memories #beauty #artists #fluidart #life #change #adapt #flow #ZensoCreative #artworkshops https://workshops.zensocreative.com/courses/freeform-color-and-style-with-alcohol-inks |
